Domani is a Shopify consulting agency based in Montreal, Quebec. Founded in 2025, we act as fractional CMO/CTO for Canadian brands doing $1M-$20M annually, managing both growth strategy and the technology systems that power modern e-commerce businesses.

We operate lean and move fast, using AI as the operating layer that keeps our small team competitive against agencies ten times our size. We are now hiring our first full-time marketing hire. About the Role

This is a founding marketing position. You will work directly with the founders and own two mandates simultaneously:

1. Client retention execution - managing Klaviyo email campaigns for several e-commerce brands on our roster. Real accounts, real audiences, real revenue at stake.
2. Domani content engine - building the organic presence that attracts new clients. This is not generic brand awareness content. It is education-first, founder-adjacent material targeted at Shopify operators: email strategy breakdowns, DTC performance insights, behind-the-scenes of running a lean performance agency. The platforms are Instagram, TikTok, , and our blog. The goal is qualified inbound - not impressions.

As Domani grows, this role is expected to evolve into a leadership position overseeing additional marketing hires and execution systems. You will not have a large team to delegate to. Your leverage is your judgment, your speed, and your ability to use modern tools to do more than one person traditionally could. That is the explicit expectation.

What You Will Own

• Social Media Content - Full Production: Concept, script, film, edit, and publish short-form video content (Instagram Reels, TikToks, videos) 2–3 times per week. Write and publish blog posts and articles that position Domani as a credible voice in e-commerce marketing. Create static and carousel assets for social grids, email, and digital touchpoints. Identify trends early and adapt them to Domani's voice quickly - measured in hours, not days.
• Klaviyo Client Execution: Take full ownership of email campaign execution across multiple client accounts. Design, structure, write, and deploy several campaigns per week. Monitor automated flows, segment health, and list hygiene across accounts. You are not the strategist on day one - but as you build context on each brand, you will grow into that role.
• AI-Augmented Execution: AI is central to how we work. You should be comfortable using modern AI tools for ideation, copywriting, creative production, and workflow optimization. We value speed, iteration, and judgment over manual process. We treat AI as an operational multiplier, not a shortcut. Speed, iteration, and judgment matter.
• Design: Produce clean, on-brand visual assets for client emails and Domani's own digital presence using Canva, Adobe Express, or equivalent tools.
• Project Management: Own our ClickUp content calendar. Maintain asset timelines, track deliverables, and keep execution moving without needing to be followed up on.
• Shopify: Basic backend support - product page updates, asset coordination, on-site content updates as needed.

What Success Looks Like

• 30 days: You have absorbed each client's brand voice, taken over Klaviyo campaign execution without a drop in quality, and shipped your first pieces of Domani content. You know how we work and we know how you work.
• 90 days: Campaign execution runs without founder oversight. Content is publishing on a consistent weekly cadence. You have a clear read on what is resonating and you are iterating based on data, not instinct alone.
• 6 months: Core Klaviyo flows are optimized across client accounts. Domani's organic presence is generating inbound interest from e-commerce operators. The founders look to you as the person who owns marketing execution entirely - someone who takes a high-level direction and turns it into assets without needing to be managed.

What We Are Looking For

• 3+ years of experience, preferably in an agency. You know how to manage multiple client accounts, pivot quickly, and maintain quality under tight deadlines. You do not need hand-holding.
• University degree preferred, not required. Portfolio, demonstrated output, and shipping velocity matter more.
• Klaviyo hands-on experience. You have built and deployed campaigns to real audiences. You understand flows, segmentation, and list health. You know what can go wrong before it does.
• Full content production capability. You can take a content idea from concept to published without a separate videographer, designer, or editor. You are not just a strategist - you ship.
• AI fluency - genuine, not performed. You use these tools (Claude, Gemini, ChatGPT) every day. You have a workflow. You can demonstrate how AI has made your output faster or better, with examples.
• Shopify familiarity. You can navigate the backend without needing a tutorial.
• Bilingual French and English - required. Our clients are mostly Quebec-based. Written and verbal proficiency in both languages is not negotiable.
• Self-managed and structured. You build systems and you keep them. You send updates without being asked.

Compensation and Structure

This is a permanent, full-time position (40 hours/week) based fully remotely within Canada. The base salary is $60,000–$65,000 CAD, with an OTE of up to $80,000 CAD. Performance bonuses are tied to agency growth and client acquisition outcomes.
