Field Sales Representative - Product Inspection

Our Opening and Your Responsibilities

As a Field Sales Representative for our Eastern Ontario and the Greater Toronto Area (GTA) you will be responsible for driving the growth of METTLER TOLEDO Product Inspection and Eagle solutions within an assigned territory and targeted market segments. Through consultative, value-based selling and strong industry expertise, you will build long-term customer relationships, establish METTLER TOLEDO and Eagle as preferred product inspection partners, and strengthen brand recognition across the market.

You will focus specifically on sales of checkweighing, metal detection, x-ray and vision to the end users and system integrators and production lines fabricators to help define METTLER TOLEDO solution for their end users, while also working with Engineering/Procurement/Construction organization to help prioritize our solutions in specified projects. Additional Responsibilities:

• Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers and influencers across operations, engineering, quality assurance, food safety, maintenance, procurement, and executive leadership teams. 
• Identify, qualify, and develop new business opportunities within existing and prospective customers
• Manage the complete sales process from lead generation through quotation, negotiation, order acquisition, and project handoff. 
• Maintain a robust pipeline of opportunities and execute proactive follow-up activities
• Conduct facility assessments, application reviews, product demonstrations, audits, and customer presentations
• Support trade shows, industry events, seminars, customer demonstrations, and educational workshops.
• Leverage CRM data to effectively manage territory activities, sales forecasting, marketing initiatives, inventory planning, and business reporting requirements. 
• Participate in regular pipeline reviews, forecast discussions, business planning activities, and sales strategy meetings.

What You Need to Succeed

• College or university diploma focused around engineering or machinery disciplines along with 3-5 years of industry and sales experience.Industrial experience in automation, process controls, or capital equipment 
• Self-starter with professional maturity, excellent communication, organizational, prioritization, and time management skills
• Must be willing to travel. Overnight travel requirements for this position may be up to 40%. 
• Must be legally entitled to work in Canada
