Head of Operations

We are looking for a natural leader with a great attitude to assume the role of Head of Operations for a company that specialises in direct mail, data management, postage solutions, print, storage and distribution. The role involves running the business efficiently and effectively, working closely with the Board and Senior Teams to promote the brand, enhance client service levels and drive profitability. The Head of Operations must ensure compliance with the Companies Act 2006.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience working in a production environment in print or direct mail.
• Good working knowledge of lithographic, digital and direct mail machinery capabilities.
• Familiarity with postal services and products across DSA and Royal Mail.
• Experience managing operations in a business with 40 + staff.
• Experience using Print Management information systems.
• Excellent PC skills including Word and Excel.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Ability to make decisions and take responsibility.
• Time‑management and organisational skills.
• Ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines.
• Planning and control skills with a high level of attention to detail.
• A skilled motivator, innovator and implementer.
