Responsibilities
- Support specialty pharmacy workflows across intake, verification, authorization, and fulfillment using established procedures
- Coordinate documentation and handoffs for prior authorization and clinical review within timelines
- Review claims, orders, and inventory to identify routine discrepancies and complete corrective actions
- Track backorders, substitutions, and product availability to maintain pharmacy operations continuity
- Document workflow activity and communicate status to pharmacists, technicians, payers, and service teams
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- 2+ years pharmacy support, healthcare operations, or claims processing experience
- Pharmacy technician certification preferred
- Ability to coordinate documentation and handoffs within defined timelines
- Knowledge of prescription intake, benefit verification, and claims workflows
Compensation: $43,800–$68,640 CAD
