Strategic Legal Manager - Remote Role

Seeking a Strategic Legal Manager to optimize contract management and compliance from a remote location. This role focuses on negotiating contracts and mitigating risks while collaborating with diverse teams. Candidates should have 5–8 years of experience in legal or business operations, particularly within startup environments. The ideal applicant will possess strong contract management skills and a deep understanding of various legal aspects associated with software and manufacturing. This position enables you to drive process improvements while supporting crucial company-wide initiatives and compliance efforts. Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee negotiation and management of commercial contracts
- Develop risk management and compliance protocols
- Collaborate on cross-functional workflows for efficiency
- Engage external legal counsel for corporate matters
- Support drafts for audits and fundraising efforts
- 5–8 years in a relevant legal/business role
- Bachelor's degree required; J.D. preferred
- Expertise in contract negotiations required
- Familiarity with ERP or CLM tools
- Experience with fundraising transactions
