Strategic Human Resources Director in Montreal

Drive HR transformation as a Human Resources Director in Montreal for a community-focused organization. Support leadership and enhance employee experience during major organizational growth. Our client is seeking a Human Resources Director to be the primary HR leader, reporting to the executive team. This strategic partner will guide management in facing challenges while optimizing HR processes and practices. You'll play a key role in the organization's transformation and development initiatives. Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and develop a diverse HR team of ten professionals
- Advise on human capital issues to executive leadership
- Participate in strategic planning for organizational growth
- Optimize HR programs, processes, and tools
- Mentor HR managers and specialized professionals
- Bachelor’s degree in HR or related field
- At least ten years of progressive HR experience
- Significant experience in a unionized environment
- Proven track record in HR function modernization
- Experience in collective bargaining negotiations
