Technicien(ne) en ajustement
L’opportunité
Nous sommes actuellement à la recherche d’un(e) technicien(ne) en ajustement expérimenté(e) et qualifié(e), possédant une bonne connaissance de l’industrie du gros. La personne retenue fournira une expertise technique et validera la faisabilité des styles auprès des usines (selon les exigences des clients), et sera responsable des essayages d’échantillons ainsi que de l’approbation des mesures.
Responsabilités clés
- S’assurer que tous les vêtements respectent les critères d’ajustement, d’apparence, de style et de qualité
- Veiller au respect de normes de qualité élevées, conformément aux standards de l’entreprise
- Créer et maintenir les blocs et standards d’ajustement pour chaque catégorie afin d’assurer une constance dans la coupe
- Effectuer les mesures et les essayages des échantillons afin de garantir que l’ajustement souhaité est atteint de façon constante
- Fournir des commentaires d’ajustement clairs, descriptifs et en temps opportun aux fournisseurs
- Produire des croquis d’ajustement afin d’aider les fournisseurs à corriger les problématiques d’ajustement
- Corriger les patrons des fournisseurs lorsque nécessaire
- Assurer une communication quotidienne et un suivi constant avec les fournisseurs et les équipes internes tout au long du processus de production afin de respecter les échéanciers
Qualifications et compétences
- DEC en mode
- Minimum de 2 ans d’expérience dans l’industrie du vêtement
- Maîtrise des logiciels : Illustrator, Excel et la suite Office
- Connaissance en patronnage (un atout), système PAD (un atout)
- Expérience et solide connaissance des procédures d’essayage et de gradation
- Minutieux(se) et soucieux(se) du détail
- Capable de travailler en équipe ainsi que de façon autonome
- Excellentes aptitudes en gestion du temps et en résolution de problèmes

Fit Technician
The Opportunity
We are currently looking for an experienced and qualified Fit Technician who has the knowledge of the wholesale industry providing technical expertise and style feasibility to the factories (according to the customers’ requirements), and who will be responsible for sample fitting and measurement approvals.
Key Responsibilities
- Certify that all garments are of the correct fit, look, style and quality
- Ensure high quality standards that are in line with company standards
- Create and maintain blocks and fit standards for each commodity to ensure consistency in fit
- Proceed with measurement and fitting of samples to guarantee the desired fit is consistently achieved
- Provide fit comments to vendors in a clear, descriptive and timely manor
- Produce fit sketches to assist the vendor in correcting fit issues
- Correct vendor pattern when needed
- Daily communication and follow-up with vendors and internal team throughout the production process to ensure production deadline are met
Qualifications & Skills
- DEC in fashion
- 2+ years of experience in the apparel industry
- Proficiency in software: Illustrator/Excel/Office Suite
- Knowledge in pattern making is an asset, PAD System (an asset)
- Experience and solid knowledge with fitting procedures and grading
- Meticulous, detail-oriented
- Able to work in a team as well as individually
- Strong time management and problem-solving skills
