Storage Facility Customer Service Representative

Job Responsibility:
We are seeking a dedicated and friendly Part-Time Customer Service Representative to join our self-storage facility team in Alberta. This role involves providing exceptional customer service and supporting the daily operations of our facility, working two days a week. If you enjoy helping others and thrive in a dynamic environment, we want to hear from you!
Key Responsibilities:
- Customer Interaction: Respond to customer inquiries via phone and in-person, providing information and assistance with storage solutions.
- Transaction Processing: Efficiently utilize computer systems to log tenant data, process transactions, and collect payments.
- Facility Maintenance: Conduct regular site inspections, ensuring all areas, including units and common spaces, are clean, organized, and secure.
- Sales Support: Assist in retail sales of storage-related supplies and effectively communicate rental terms to customers.
- Issue Resolution: Address and resolve customer concerns promptly and professionally.
- Maintenance Reporting: Identify and report maintenance needs to ensure the facility operates smoothly.
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Customer Service Skills: Strong interpersonal skills with a focus on providing exceptional service.
- Communication: Polite and respectful communication abilities, both in-person and over the phone.
- Independence: Confidence to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Professionalism: Maintain a professional appearance and demeanor at all times.
- Physical Capability: Ability to perform light maintenance tasks and lift up to 25 lbs.
- Technical Skills: Familiarity with computer processing software (Microsoft Office; experience with PTI StorLogix or WebSelfStorage is a plus).
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
- Background Check: Successful applicants will need to provide a Criminal Record Check.
