Staffmax Staffing & Recruiting is currently recruiting for Accountant Clerk for an immediate full-time opportunity.
Position Details
- Location: RoseberryWinnipeg, MB
- Start Date: Immediate
- Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM
- Lunch: 1-hour unpaid lunch break
- Salary: $45,000 - $50,000 annually (based on experience)
Position Overview
Our client is seeking a detail-oriented and dependable individual with accounting experience to support their day-to-day financial and administrative operations. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records and assisting with various accounting functions.
Key Responsibilities
- Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions
- Prepare and issue invoices
- Perform account reconciliations and maintain financial records
- Assist with bank reconciliations and month-end activities
- Support payroll and general bookkeeping functions
- Maintain organized filing systems and accounting documentation
- Perform data entry and administrative duties as required
- Communicate professionally with vendors, customers, and internal staff
Qualifications
- Previous experience in accounting, bookkeeping, or a related role
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
- Experience with accounting software is an asset
- Excellent organizational and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
