Detail Design Technical Lead at Duke Marine

Drive engineering success at Duke Marine Technical Services as a Detail Design Technical Lead in Halifax, NS. Lead 3D modeling initiatives and ensure your team meets all regulatory compliance requirements on-site. In this permanent role, you will partner with the Senior Team Lead to oversee design projects while guiding your team through complex challenges. Your experience with engineering toolsets, particularly CAD, will enable you to effectively contribute to the project delivery plan. You will also ensure high-quality outputs are achieved through technical governance and oversight. Key Responsibilities:
- Mentor project teams with technical leadership
- Align team tasks with program delivery plans
- Use CAD tools to create detailed designs
- Address design issues and advise management solutions
- Validate engineering outputs to ensure compliance
- Vocational qualifications or equivalent training
- Substantial experience in engineering roles
- Knowledge of large-scale engineering activities
- Familiarity with technical design standards and processes
- Strong communication skills for client interactions
