Hi, I'm Steve , co-founder and Director of New Nuclear at NPX – your future lead! I've built my career delivering complex nuclear projects including 15+ years in field work at Bruce Power, leading multi-disciplinary teams through major refurbishment campaigns, and strategic and programmatic support to New Build Projects.

About Us

Our New Nuclear team scales this expertise through strategic project management of new nuclear projects, from concept through execution, across Canada, the U.S., and globally.

The Role

We're building the team that will deliver the next generation of nuclear power in North America, and we're always on the lookout for exceptional Project Coordinators to support the Bruce C new build program. Whether you're new to project coordination or have experience across construction programs, electrical systems, civil and earthworks, supply chain, technology selection, or document management, we want to hear from you.

As a Project Coordinator at NPX, you'll keep a busy project team on top of its commitments - the schedule current, the actions closed, the documents where they should be, and the reporting ready before anyone has to ask for it. You'll do work shoulder to shoulder with the clients' team and see first-hand how major nuclear projects actually come together. It's a strong platform for a career in nuclear project delivery, and we'll invest in getting you there.

Travel Requirements: Requires on-site presence in Bruce County approximately three days per week to support effective collaboration and decision-making.

Salary Range: $70-90k (Exact compensation may vary)

What You'll Drive

• Keep the workstream moving — schedule and coordinate meetings, capture what was decided, and chase actions through to closure.

• Track the project schedule, keeping milestone dates current and flagging slippage early rather than reporting it late.

• Own document management and filing so the workstream’s records are complete, current and easy for anyone to find.

• Produce status reports and dashboard updates that give the team and client leadership a clear picture every week.

• Provide the general procurement administration support that keeps a busy team’s day-to-day running smoothly.

• Support project planning and coordination activities as the program builds out.

• Organization & Follow-Through: nothing falls through the cracks on your watch — you track it, you close it, and people stop worrying about it.

• Domain Familiarity: experience in a nuclear environment is what we’re looking for, and an existing nuclear security clearance is a strong asset.

• Coordination Expertise: 2–5 years coordinating schedules, actions, documents and reporting in a project environment, ideally on major capital work, within a supply chain team or in a construction execution environment.

• Communication: you write clearly and confirm rather than assume, so the team always knows where things stand.

• Adaptability & Growth: you thrive in a fast-growing practice where the structure is still being built — and you jump in and play an active role in that development.
