Hiring Passionate Line Cook

Job Responsibility: : Cook Rate: $19-24 Position Overview: We are looking for a skilled Cook to join our kitchen team. The Cook will prepare delicious meals according to menu specifications and ensure the highest standards of food quality and presentation. This role requires creativity, attention to detail, and a passion for culinary excellence. Responsibilities:

• Prepare and cook menu items in compliance with established recipes and standards.
• Ensure all dishes are prepared and served according to proper procedures and timing.
• Monitor food stock and communicate needs to the Kitchen Manager or Sous Chef.
• Maintain a clean and orderly kitchen by washing dishes, sanitizing surfaces, taking out trash, etc.
• Follow all safety and sanitation procedures to prevent accidents and uphold hygiene standards.
• Collaborate with kitchen team members on food preparation and presentation.
• Assist with inventory and ordering of food and kitchen supplies.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Cook in a restaurant or similar environment.
• Extensive knowledge of cooking techniques, kitchen equipment, and food safety procedures.
• Ability to work efficiently under pressure and handle multiple tasks.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
• Physical stamina and mobility, including the ability to lift and carry heavy items (up to 50 pounds).

Preferred Qualifications:

• Culinary degree or certification from an accredited institution is a plus.
• Experience with various cuisines and cooking styles is a plus.
