Expected Start Date: August 24, 2026 Union: HSAS Facility: MHAS Community Recovery Adult Services City/Town: Saskatoon Department: Mental Health Home Health Type: Full-time temporary Expected Up to Date: August 24, 2027 FTE: 1 Shift Information: Days Number of Hours per Rotation: 28 shifts of 8 hours per 6 weeks Relief: No Float: No Hours of Work: Standard Hours Salary or Pay Band: Pay Band Health Educator - Senior $39.44 to $48.226 Travel Required: Yes Job : Under the direction of the Manager, the Health Educator Senior is accountable for providing the following education and training services for MHAS: Education and training coordination and research; program development, training program implementation and delivery; mental health and addiction consultations; public presentations in addition to brief counseling and liaison activities. The incumbent will ensure that the services provided are: consistent with current evidence based practice and practice based evidence in the areas of mental health and addictions, education and training and Saskatchewan Health Authority philosophy, objectives and standards.The incumbent will also be responsible for delivering material updates and refresher training to basic trainers of the Partners for Change Outcome Management System (PCOMS) within community Mental Health and Addiction Services throughout the Saskatchewan Health Authority. The incumbent will also provide clinical support, and consultation on PCOMS provincially. "Preference for this position will be given to HSAS members in accordance with the terms and conditions of the SAHO/HSAS Collective Agreement" Human Resources Exemption: No
