Exercise and Reconditioning Specialist Role

Elevate the health of Canadian Armed Forces members as an Exercise and Reconditioning Specialist in Latvia during a 6-month civilian deployment. This role focuses on offering crucial exercise and rehabilitation services to enhance overall well-being. Your key function will be to develop and lead innovative reconditioning programs tailored to individuals with medical conditions. You will also provide fitness counseling, assess client progress, and coordinate necessary evaluations alongside medical professionals. Your expertise will play a significant role in developing rehabilitation plans and implementing effective injury prevention strategies. Key Responsibilities:
- Lead innovative reconditioning programs for military personnel
- Create comprehensive exercise prescriptions
- Provide crucial fitness counseling to clients with injuries
- Assess and evaluate physical fitness levels
- Document client progress and prepare management reports
- Bachelor’s degree in relevant disciplines
- Current Certified Exercise Physiologist (CEP) certification
- Recent BLS CPR and First Aid certification
- Experience in program design and rehabilitation
- Strong communication and leadership skills
