Nanny Wanted - Hoping To Connect With Care Worker

My family is looking for a part-time nanny to start September 2, 2026. It is after school care Monday - Friday, with certain days starting a bit earlier than the rest. The hours are approximately 12 hours/week. The nanny MUST DRIVE. We have a vivacious year 10 year old girl, who is a competitive swimmer and a compassionate 7 year old boy. Both kids play hockey. My son has Delayed Language Disorder (DLD). This means he faces challenges processing language, both expressive and receptive. He is smart and kind, but benefits from visual aids, shorter sentences, and may struggle to express himself especially when dis-regulated. As two-working parents, my husband and I need help with after-school care. It will involve picking the kids up from school approx. twice a week and dropping my daughter off at swimming. The hours are:

• Monday - Thursday 3:50 - 5:50 p.m. (except on swim days school pick-up is 3:10 p.m.)
• Friday 2:50-5:50 p.m.

Duties: We are looking for someone to be at our house when they get home, to give them a snack, and help them with 30 minutes of homework each day. After homework, we expect the nanny to play games or otherwise keep my children engaged WITHOUT screentime. The role will include driving to an extra-curricular activities. Applicants MUST have personal transportation available. We do NOT expect dinner preparation, but require the nanny clean up after snack and help instill good habits in the kids - that they clean up after themselves. My home is smoke free.
