Nanny Wanted - Seeking Qualified Part Time Nanny For After School Care, Assistance With Shuttling Our Kiddos Around, Meal Prep And Laundry!

Hi there! My name is Sophie and we are hoping to find a part-time nanny living in Calgary, Alberta, with the ability to drive. We currently have a fabulous live-out nanny who has been with us for nearly three years and is heading off to chase her dreams. We plan to hire a capable candidate for part-time live-out, starting September 2026. We have 5 kids, however the youngest (3-year-old twins) are in full-time daycare. Our older three go to a private school that does not have bussing (ages 7 (boy), 9 (girl) and 11 (girl)). The role would essentially be Monday through Thursday, 2-6pm (or 3-6pm, if needed due to availability), with two Thursdays a month being 2-9pm. There would also be the opportunity for occasional weekend work for date nights or events, as well as potential for quarterly business travel. Key responsibilities would be:

• laundry (prior to picking up kids from school)
• dinner prep & dinner
• picking kids up from school (three big kids)
• driving to activities as needed (can provide vehicle; strong driving skills are a must as there is lots of highway driving)
• feeding dinner and tidying up

I would then arrive home with the twins and pick-up the pieces from there. As a busy full-time working mom, I so value someone who is able to jump in and proactively help to problem solve to keep all the balls in the air. We are also a Christian family who hope to find someone who can partner with us is teaching strong values to our children and be a cherished member of our family.
