Our Valued Public Sector Client is seeking an experienced Audio-Visual (AV) Technician to support the setup, operation, and maintenance of qualified audio/video conferencing environments across multiple locations.
Responsibilities Prepare, install, and configure AV equipment including displays, projectors, screens, microphones, speakers, and cabling.
Set up and support Video Teleconferencing (VTC) environments for meetings, presentations, and hybrid collaboration sessions.
Troubleshoot and resolve AV and VTC equipment issues quickly and effectively under pressure.
Perform preventative maintenance and testing of AV hardware to ensure optimal system reliability and performance.
Provide technical assistance and guidance to presenters, meeting participants, and end users.
Edit and enhance audio recordings to improve clarity, balance, and overall sound quality.
Perform post-production tasks such as color correction, transitions, and visual enhancements for multimedia content.
Collaborate with internal teams to ensure all AV deliverables meet technical and operational standards.
Support and maintain audio/video signal flow configurations, AV networking components, and conferencing systems.
Assist with equipment inventory management, transportation, and onsite deployment as required.
Nice to have Experience with AMX systems.
Experience with setting up and troubleshooting VTC Video Switches.
Must have Valid Driver's license.
Federal Government Secret clearance.
This role includes regular travel to various client locations throughout Eastern Ontario. #J-18808-Ljbffr
