CAC is participating in the Alberta Youth Incentive Program which supports hiring youth from the ages 15-24.
Position: Bakery Clerk
Availability: Weekdays and weekends, afternoons, and evenings.
Casual: Less than 24 hours per week
Responsibilities
- Provide exceptional customer service
- Package and label bakery products for sale
- Perform tasks such as slicing bread, frying donuts, utilizing ovens
- Assist in production as directed by bakers
- Stock shelves and pull freezer products as needed
- Assist in setting up products for the following day
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment
- Perform additional duties as assigned by the manager
Qualifications
- Excellent communication skills
- Strong organizational skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Team player with the ability to work independently
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs; some heavy lifting is required
- Prior experience in a bakery setting is an asset; however, training is available
- Applicants must be over 14 years old. (Employment Standards mandates a permit to employ a person aged 14 or under, thus disclosure is required.)
