About the Role

The Senior Product Analyst at Moncel is a critical player in shaping the future of our products. Reporting directly to the VP of Product Management, this role is at the intersection of market research, regulatory compliance, and strategic planning. The individual will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure our products not only meet user needs but also contribute to business expansion and innovation.

What You'll Do

• Strategic Market Research: Identify, acquire and synthesize data to understand the evolving regulatory landscape, industry trends, customer behavior, and competitive positioning.
• Regulatory & Compliance Watch: Develop and maintain a “source of truth” on relevant regulatory information, identifying new risks and opportunities for consideration in the Product Roadmap.
• Business Case Formulation: Partner with the VP of Product to develop compelling business cases for new products or features, backed by data analytics and financial modeling.
• Financial Modeling: Support the VP of Product in conducting financial models to evaluate and compare the potential impact of new product opportunities and risks.
• Performance Metrics & Data Analytics: Help develop and maintain the product team's KPI dashboard, identify market trends, and uncover opportunities for product and business improvement and expansion.

Who You Are / What you Have:

• Product / Business Analysis Track Record: You have 5 years experience in product or business analysis, ideally in a regulated industry, and a track record of helping to identify and commercialize new, lucrative business ventures.
• Data Gathering Skills: Leaving no stone unturned, you have a knack for identifying, acquiring and synthesizing key primary and secondary data sources to enable strategic market research.
• Legislation, Standards and Guidelines Knowledge: Experience in translating direction from primary stakeholders (e.g.: regulators, standards bodies, legislation) into product requirements / business requirements.
• Critical Thinking: You enjoy analyzing product, market, and user/client data along with regulatory/legislative information against company goals (market, strategic, operational, financial, etc) to help identify new risks and opportunities, support business case development, and prioritize work for greatest impact.
• Communication Skills : A fluent English speaker with the ability to break down complex issues into simple language, equally comfortable with presenting ideas and business cases in written form or in a face-to-face presentation.
• Business Acumen: Working with key internal stakeholders (courseware, compliance, sales, technology, marketing, customer service, etc.) to ensure the most efficient approach is always taken when assessing the costs of both implementing, and maintaining new product features or regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
