RQ10364 - Systems Testing/QA Specialist - Senior

Quality Lead is responsible for overseeing and managing the quality assurance (QA) processes for both manual and automated testing efforts. This role involves leading a team of QA engineers, developing and implementing testing strategies, and ensuring the delivery of high\-quality software products. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in both manual and automated testing, strong leadership skills, and a deep understanding of software development life cycles (SDLC) and QA methodologies. <\/span>

As a Test Lead you will <\/span>
<\/p>

• Collaborate with product managers, product owners, and technical team to develop test strategies and test plans <\/span>
  <\/li>
  
  
• Plans and organizes testing efforts for large systems in Graphical User Interface (GUI) and non\-Graphical User Interface (GUI) environments, including the execution of systems integration tests, specialized tests, and user acceptance testing (e.g., stress tests)<\/span>
  <\/li>
  
  
• Develop of test plans, test scripts and test cases and execute these against the various components. <\/span>
  <\/li>
  
  
• Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts for functional, regression, and integration testing <\/span>
  <\/li>
  
  
• Use automation tools and frameworks such as Selenium, Appium, Katalon or similar to create robust and reusable test scripts. <\/span>
  <\/li>
  
  
• Provides advice on the testing strategy, test plans, the selection of testing tools, and the identification of resources required for testing. <\/span>
  <\/li>
  
  
• Assist with planning and creating test data as it relates to each test phase <\/span>
  <\/li>
  
  
• Executes quality assurance and testing activities for various types of testing such as integration testing, functional testing, regression testing, unit testing, load testing, performance testing and accessibility testing <\/span>
  <\/li>
  
  
• Plans and organizes testing efforts in both front\-end and back\-end application components\/environments <\/span>
  <\/li>
  
  
• Communicate test results regularly through reports that summarize test completion and defects found <\/span>
  <\/li>
  
  
• Help with the implementation of the project technical testing strategy and methodology. This includes testing of integration points and interfaces and non\-functional requirements (e.g. fail\-over, component response times, data integrity, security)<\/span>
  <\/li>
  
  
• Evaluate test results against acceptance criteria to determine successful completion of the sprint increment <\/span>
  <\/li>
  
  
• Defines and measures acceptance criteria for test cases <\/span>
  <\/li>
  
  
• Record all defects\/issues in the Cluster’s defect reporting tool (Jira), including detailed descriptions, screenshots, and steps to re\-produce <\/span>
  <\/li>
  
  
• Participate in elicitation and business requirement workshop sessions, sprint reviews and\/or walkthrough meetings <\/span>
  <\/li>
  
  
• Work with cross\-functional teams to ensure quality throughout the agile \/ iterative solution development lifecycle <\/span>
  <\/li>
  
  
• Conducts post\-release \/ post\-implementation testing <\/span>
  <\/li>
  
  
• Supports clients with user acceptance testing (UAT) activities <\/span>
  <\/li>
  
  
• Creates traceability matrix to ensure testing outcomes align with business requirements <\/span>
  <\/li>
  
  
• Coordinate and facilitate regular defect review meetings with Business Analysts and Business stakeholders <\/span>
  <\/li>
  
  
• Provide testing and defect status updates in daily scrum stand\-ups, team meetings as required <\/span>
  <\/li>
  
  
• Provide weekly report confirming status of assigned tasks <\/span>
  <\/li>
