RQ10226 - Systems Testing/QA Specialist - Senior

The resources will <\/span> be working on back\-end integration, web service, and API testing.

• Plan, document and execute both manual and automated API test cases for:
  <\/span><\/li>
  
  
• connectivity\/regression testing specific to the rollout of the new API gateway platform for the Ontario Business Registry 
  <\/span><\/li>
  
  
• application, regression\/functional testing specific to new OBR ReST\-based web services
  <\/span><\/li>
  
  
• Fulfill the role of subject matter expert for issues and questions pertaining to configuration, access, and functionality of web services (APIs) in the OBR application
  <\/span><\/li>
  
  
• Support and guide internal\/external Ministry partners in their integration and testing activities related to the new API gateway platform and the roll\-out of ReST\-based APIs <\/span>

  • Testing experience (functional and non\-functional) of SOAP\-based and ReST\-based transactional web services in an n\-tier Java EE server environment, ideally in the context of occupational and\/or business registry systems
