RQ00544 - Systems Testing/QA Specialist - Senior

Responsibilities:

Responsibilities include but are not limited to: <\/span>
<\/p>

• Develop test plans, test scripts and test cases and execute these against the various components (both vendor and Agency assets) of eReferral Ontario network in non\-production environments <\/span>
  <\/span><\/li>
  
  
• Create a test report <\/span>
  <\/span><\/li>
  
  
• Log, track and manage defects in JIRA <\/span>
  <\/span><\/li>
  
  
• Execute functional tests for end\-to\-end testing and UAT <\/span>
  <\/span><\/li>
  
  
• Work with the Test lead and other project stake holders such as PM, IT lead, BA in the analysis, design, development, implementation and ongoing support of the required systems from testing perspective <\/span>
  <\/span><\/li>
  
  
• Analyze, Plan, Design, Build, Implement, Run and Maintain automation testing framework, automated test scenarios\/test cases & automation scripts for UI as required for IAM and other Agency programs and projects <\/span>
  <\/span><\/li>
  
  
• Coordinate with Project Manager and stakeholders to ensure end to end testing is integrated into overall project schedule <\/span>
  <\/span><\/li>
  
  
• Team player, able to engage different programs <\/span>
  <\/span><\/li>
  
  
• Ensure the development & maintenance of test data integrity\/data quality <\/span>
  <\/span><\/li>
  
  
• Determine all testing environment requirements and tools <\/span>
  <\/span><\/li>
  
  
• Strong analytical skills in assessing user, functional, technical requirements <\/span>
  <\/span><\/li>
  
  
• Participate in requirements and design reviews to ensure they meet the needs and understand impacts on testing strategies and timeline. <\/span>
  <\/span><\/li>
  
  
• Analyze, Plan, Design, Implement and execute functional Testing in WebServices\/API <\/span>
  <\/span><\/li>
  
  
• Assist in the time estimation of the QA efforts and it's optimization for functional testing <\/span>
  <\/span><\/li>
  
  
• Provide key inputs and work with Agency asset product team’s Quality Assurance teams in the design and develop of test strategy, test plan and test execution report <\/span>
  <\/span><\/li>
  
  
• Clearly understand the expectations of the project\/program and communicate with the team members, management and stakeholders effectively articulating the plan, process and daily work packages <\/span>

  • Experience testing in an agile project delivery <\/span>
    <\/span><\/li>
    
    
  • Experience planning and organizing testing efforts for both large and small systems <\/span>
    <\/span><\/li>
    
    
  • Experience supporting functional end to end testing, as well as user acceptance testing and participating in UAT activities <\/span>
    <\/span><\/li>
    
    
  • Extensive experience working in Healthcare systems; Referral Management System experience would be an asset <\/span>

      • 6+ years Experience working with standard API and FHIR knowledge, along with experience using tools like Postman and Jira, as well as SQL\/ Database knowledge. <\/span><\/span>
        <\/span><\/li>
        
        
      • 6+ years Experience working in Agile\-Scrum environment, test planning, Writing and executing manual test cases, test scripts and test reporting, logging, tracking and managing defects in JIRA <\/span><\/span>
        <\/span><\/li>
        
        
      • 6+ years Advanced level hands\-on experience with end to end testing including review of front end UI screens <\/span>
        <\/span><\/li>

        • Experience in creating and executing test cases, test scripts for Functional\/Systems integration testing to validate the business requirements\/User Stories and defect management in JIRA in an agile project delivery model. <\/span><\/span>
