We are currently seeking a Reporting Analyst to join our diverse team. This role supports all Customer Care Operations (Billing, Payments, Collections, and Call Centre) with improvements in operational reporting & analysis.

What You Will Do:

• Convert existing management reporting packages into more informative information using new tools (e.g. SQL, Power BI etc).

• Assemble new reporting requirements on improvements in overall efficiency, channel shift and customer satisfaction.

• Assist in implementation of changes in business processes and rules

• Support team leads to help drive improved business results including reduction in call volumes, back-office exceptions, collections and overall cost effectiveness.

• Work with IT and business support groups to co-ordinate data collection for analytics projects. Ensure data requirements for projects are well documented with clarity on how it will be gathered and organized.

• Work closely with groups to identify requirements for more robust data access for ad hoc analysis and reporting.

• Prepare, analyze and distribute various monthly and quarterly reports for Customer Care team.

• Responsible for delivering on reporting of metrics for a customer base of 3.8 million including customer calls, collections, payment processing, financial reporting, and exception management.

Who You Are:

• Related university degree or a combination of formal education and 3-5 years of analytical experience.

• Ability to analyze large volumes of data to provide insight. Must be numerically oriented with ability to critically think through issues using data.

• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, i.e. EXCEL, WORD, Access, PowerPoint, Power BI and Skilled in SAP Analytics suite (Business Objects, Crystal Reports)

• Ability to read/write in both SQL and Python programming languages

• Outstanding communication (both written and verbal) and interpersonal skills

• Understanding of regulatory environment is an asset.

• Knowledge of affiliate relationship code, gas marketers code, and other regulatory requirements will be of excellent advantage.
