Senior Project Manager – Responsibilities

We are seeking a Senior Project Manager to deliver projects within scope, time, and cost, adhering to our governance framework.

• Undertake one or multiple projects and programs, managing them through the full lifecycle.
• Create project plans (Waterfall/Agile/hybrid), articulate business outcomes, metrics, assumptions, risks, prerequisites, support actions, and intermediate outcomes.
• Provide consulting and guidance on multiple projects/programs, including business case preparation and creative problem resolution.
• Facilitate schedule and cost forecasting; manage scope/requirements changes and competing priorities, communicating impacts on budget, time, and risk.
• Resolve issues and conflicts, remove barriers, and act as an escalation point for potential conflicts between direction and project constraints.
• Lead project closure activities such as retrospectives, lessons‑learned, and financial closure.
• Document action plans for improvement opportunities.
• Work with external vendors and third parties, managing portfolio‑level relationships.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to align on objectives and goals.
• Assess impact and develop change management strategies for successful adoption.
• Support Product Owners in managing expectations, communications, and governance implementation.
• Educate and mentor team members on methodologies, best practices, and tools.
• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree, post‑secondary education, or equivalent work experience.
• 7+ years of project management experience, focusing on IT cloud infrastructure, software integration, development, and information security.
• Certification in PMP, Prince2, or 3PO.
• Proficiency in managing business or technology projects, including organizational change management.
• Preferred experience with HRIS systems.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong interpersonal and relationship skills with influence across stakeholders.
• Solid organizational skills and ability to multitask.
• Resourceful and innovative with strong problem‑solving and decision‑making skills.
• Collaborative, communicative, and energizing management style.

Current salary range: $101,900–$132,400 in Toronto; ranges may vary by location.
