Software Engineer II at Affirm

Join Affirm's Partner Merchant Interfaces team as a Software Engineer II, focusing on API development and backend systems. Work remotely in a collaborative environment that supports leading partners like Amazon and Stripe. As a Software Engineer II at Affirm, you will take charge of projects and initiatives within the Integration team. This role emphasizes backend system design, development, and API launches using Python or Kotlin. You'll collaborate closely with product management and design, ensuring technical excellence while contributing to a supportive team culture. Key Responsibilities:
• Break down complex projects into manageable tasks
• Collaborate on product development with peers and stakeholders
• Monitor metrics for team artifacts and support on-call efforts
• Participate in team growth through interview processes
• Contribute to the availability of backend systems Requirements:
• Minimum 1.5 years of software engineering experience
• Proficient in Python or Kotlin for system design
• Experience with AWS, MySQL, and Kubernetes
• Ability to navigate and debug large codebases
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience Lead impactful projects and foster collaboration as a Software Engineer II with Affirm.
