TD Securities Data Platform Engineer II

Join TD Securities as a Data Platform Engineer II in a hybrid role based in Toronto, Ontario. This position emphasizes modernization and support of our MIDAS application platform. In this full-time position, you will leverage your skills in Java and Oracle 19c to enhance key data processes and work closely with important stakeholders. You'll drive architectural changes while ensuring the delivery of reliable application support and documentation practices. Key Responsibilities:
- Implement code enhancements and new architecture changes
- Lead modernization initiatives aligned with business needs
- Manage code reviews, merges, and deployments
- Ensure compliance with governance and risk standards
- Provide essential support for business-critical platforms
- Extensive experience with Java and Oracle 19c
- Unix scripting expertise an asset
- Proven leadership in technical projects
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Experience mentoring junior team members
