Childcare Centre Supervisor

Looking for a childcare centre supervisor with a minimum 2* years* of experience as a Childcare centre supervisor.

The duties expected will be:

--- Ensure the ongoing safety and well---being of all children and staff--- Monitor staff and ensure child : teacher ratio is always maintained--- Respond to all parent questions, comments, and concerns in a timely and professional manner--- Organize and conduct monthly staff meetings and P.A days--- Provide oversight and mentoring regarding policies, procedures, and goals--- Maintain all records as required by both the Ministry of Education and Public Health--- Represent the service during Ministry of Education and Public Health visits or audits--- Development of policies and procedures under the CCEYA and Human Resources--- Updating CCLS when required (entering new staff, submitting for a Serious Occurrence, responding to program advisor requests etc).--- Monitors, reviews, and approves all written work of the staff--- Evaluate employee performance and provide both written and verbal feedback on an ongoing basis--- Hire and train new staff--- Conduct monthly fire drills and other necessary emergency situations (Code Red, Tornado)--- Prepare staff schedules and approving staff time cards using ADP--- Responsible for collecting and documenting monthly student tuition payments--- Planning and attending all field trips and summer camp programming--- Co---ordinate extra---curricular activities for the children--- Responding to e---mails and answering the phone--- Conduct school tours and registrations--- Track and project student enrollment--- Worked with Simcoe Early Intervention Services as well as Child Care Fee Subsidy--- Complete ERIK Assessments and Nipissing Screens where and when necessary

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $28.00 per hour

Schedule:
