Cook Supervisor Zoup Eatery Newmarket Location Newmarket, ON Salary 36.00 hourly / 37.5 hours per week Full time Early morning, Morning, Day, Evening, Weekend Starts as soon as possible Benefits: Financial benefits Languages English Education Secondary (high) school graduation certificate Experience 1 year to less than 2 years Work must be completed at the physical Location. There is no option to work remotely. Work setting Restaurant Responsibilities: Establish methods to meet work schedules Requisition food and kitchen supplies Supervise and co-ordinate activities of staff who prepare and portion food Train staff in job duties, sanitation and safety procedures Estimate ingredient and supplies required for meal preparation Hire food service staff Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards Prepare budget and cost estimates Address customers' complaints or concerns Maintain records of stock, repairs, sales and wastage Prepare and submit reports Prepare food order summaries for chef Establish work schedules Supervision 5-10 people Cook (general) Kitchen and food service helpers Experience and specialization Cuisine specialties Halal Additional information Work conditions and physical capabilities Work under pressure Combination of sitting, standing, walking Standing for extended periods Physically demanding Personal suitability Client focus Team player Dependability Benefits Financial benefits Life insurance Until: 2026-06-18
