Role Description The Industrial Millwright role is a full-time, on-site position based in Windsor, ON. The individual in this role installs, maintains, and repairs Presses, Conveyors, industrial machinery and mechanical systems, ensuring equipment operates safely and efficiently. Daily tasks include conducting inspections, performing preventive maintenance, diagnosing mechanical and hydraulic issues, and completing repairs or replacements of parts and assemblies. The role involves working with power tools and hand tools, reading and interpreting technical drawings and manuals, and collaborating with production and maintenance teams to minimize downtime. The millwright also maintains accurate maintenance records, follows all safety regulations and lockout/tagout procedures, and supports continuous improvement initiatives in the plant.

Qualifications

• Ability to work with Stamping Presses and Conveyor systems, perform Preventive Maintenance and Maintenance & Repair on industrial machinery, including routine inspections and scheduled servicing.
• Strong Troubleshooting skills to diagnose mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic issues and implement effective corrective actions.
• Proficiency in using Power Tools and Hand Tools safely and effectively for installation, adjustment, and repair tasks.
• Relevant trade certification or apprenticeship as an Industrial Millwright or equivalent technical qualification.
• Experience in an industrial or manufacturing environment, with knowledge of safety standards and lockout/tagout procedures.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and equipment manuals.
• Good communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with maintenance, engineering, and production teams.
• Physical ability to perform manual tasks, including lifting, standing for extended periods, and working in various plant conditions.
