Quality/Office Clerk

The Narmco Group is an industry leader in the automotive industry for metal stamping and assembly. As a result of continuously growing our professional team, we have a challenging career opportunity for a Quality Assurance/Office Clerk. The candidate for this position is the main point of support to the Quality Department as well as assisting in the representation of The Narmco Group to our End Customers. They shall be responsible for ensuring that all procedures for recording and distribution of quality data and information as set out in the policies and procedures of the company are followed.

Job Responsibilities

• The Quality Assurance Clerk shall maintain a current PPAP file for all parts running in their facility. Each file shall have a control plan, process flow chart, FMEA's, operator instructions and check sheets and any additional customer specific documentation.


• Update files when engineering changes are required and initiate new job files accordingly.


• Entering data for SPC1, Gauge R&R, CPK studies, and other computer inputting as required.


• Various administration functions regarding departmental meetings, customer tours, office co-ordination, record keeping, etc.


• Assist with other duties as assigned by management.

Job Requirements

• GED with a formalized course accreditation in administrative skills, computer applications and basic business fundamentals.


• Minimum 1-3 years experience in an office or business administration. Experience in a Quality Dept. or in the field of automotive stampings and assemblies is an asset.


• Demonstrated experience must contain strong organizational, communication, administrative and time management skills.


• Successful candidates must demonstrate strong computer literacy; including experience with all office applications with an emphasis on word processing, spreadsheet applications, internet communications and project tracking.

The wage for this position is $20.85 per hour.
