This role is ideal for an experienced accounting professional who enjoys variety, ownership, and working with multiple clients. You’ll manage full‑cycle accounting for a small portfolio, ensure accurate financial reporting, support junior team members, and help strengthen internal processes. It’s a great fit for someone who values high‑quality work, enjoys problem‑solving, and wants to contribute to a team that’s continually improving how finance gets done.
⭐ What You’ll Be Doing
- Managing month‑end close and preparing reliable financial statements
- Maintaining working papers, reconciliations, and supporting schedules
- Coordinating payroll and compliance requirements for assigned clients
- Handling day‑to‑day accounting including journal entries, AR/AP, and related tasks
- Providing guidance to junior staff to support their development and ensure consistent quality
- Bring an solutions orientated mindset, constantly identifying opportunities to build efficiencies, improve processes and automate.
⭐ Qualifications
- CPA designation
- Solid experience with full‑cycle accounting and month‑end processes
- Comfort with payroll platforms and compliance requirements
- Strong Excel abilities including analysis and data organization
- Knowledge of Canadian accounting standards; cross‑border exposure is helpful
- Experience with cloud‑based accounting software
- Interest in improving processes and working efficiently
