Bar Manager
The Leaside Pub is seeking an experienced, hands-on Bar Manager to oversee bar operations and help lead our front-of-house team. We are a busy, established neighbourhood pub known for friendly service, a welcoming atmosphere and strong community ties.
Key responsibilities:
- Lead, train and support bartenders and servers during service
- Maintain high standards for service, cleanliness and guest experience
- Oversee beverage inventory, ordering, receiving and cost controls
- Monitor cash handling and opening and closing procedures
- Help drive sales while controlling product costs and reducing waste
- Resolve customer and employee issues professionally
- Work closely with the General Manager on day-to-day operations
The ideal candidate has previous bar or restaurant management experience, strong leadership skills and a practical, floor-first management style. You must be organized, dependable and available to work evenings and weekends. Smart Serve certification is required.
