McManes Automotive is looking to add an Automotive Deal Clerk to their team at Country Hills Ford ! The successful individual will be organized, self motivated, work well under pressure, take directions well, and have a strong computer background with programs such as Microsoft - preferably dealership software. Automotive accounting experience is an asset; however, we are willing to train the right individual with AP/AR experience in a dealership.
This position comes with a competitive salary and will be based on experience.

Duties and Responsibilities
- Process all New and Used vehicle sales
- Process all dealer trade and wholesale sales
- Process and reconcile commissions
- Account for funds that have been received from financial institutions
- Process all cheque requisitions relating to deals
- Review inventory schedules to ensure that internal RO and vendor invoices have been posted correctly
- Review and reconcile customer, wholesale, and finance AR schedules
- Review and reconcile F&I product schedules
- Journal entries – DR & CR knowledge necessary
- Keep track of data in excel spreadsheets for management review
- Perform month end procedures
Qualifications
- Experience with dealership software preferred
- Experience working in accounting in an automotive industry will be an asset
- Knowledge of Microsoft programs such as Excel, Word and Outlook
- Able to perform account reconciliations
- Must work well in a team and have strong communication skills
