We are seeking a versatile Project Manager - IT II for an enterprise-level contract opportunity. In this role, you will take on a blended project management, Scrum leadership, and business analysis capacity, specializing in overseeing end-to-end software delivery lifecycles, resource management, and operational governance controls.

As an IT Project Manager, you will bridge the gap between technical engineering teams, business analysts, and operational leads. You will drive project execution using Agile and Scrum methodologies, lead teams of developers, manage project budgets and timelines, and facilitate User Acceptance Testing (UAT). Additionally, you will apply strong business analysis capabilities to elicit requirements, prepare operational artifacts, manage risks, and ensure full compliance with audit, recovery, and governance standards.

Responsibilities
Manage and oversee all phases of the IT project lifecycle, including scope definition, timeline planning, resource allocation, and budget tracking.

Lead cross-functional delivery teams using Scrum and Agile frameworks to deliver high-quality software solutions meeting business needs.

Perform business analysis activities to elicit, document, and translate business requirements into technical deliverables for engineering squads.

Develop, track, and maintain comprehensive project plans, risk logs, cost-benefit analyses, and status reports for leadership.

Coordinate and oversee User Acceptance Testing (UAT), including test plan definition, rollout procedures, and defect tracking.

Manage operational and governance artifacts, supporting risk assessments, audit documentation, recovery plans, and operational controls.

Support both online and batch production operations, environment deployments, and post-implementation support activities.

Facilitate regular project meetings, sprint ceremonies, and presentations to project sponsors and steering committees.

Utilize Jira and Confluence to manage backlogs, track project velocity, maintain documentation, and streamline team workflows.

Qualifications
Core Requirements & Project Management Skills
Project Management Experience: 2 to 4 years of hands-on IT project management and team leadership experience delivering software solutions in enterprise environments.

Agile & Technical Tooling: Proficient in Jira, Confluence, and Python alongside practical experience using AI-assisted productivity utilities.

Business Analysis Capabilities: Demonstrated ability to gather business requirements, bridge communication between business and technical leads, and document process flows.

Operations & Governance: Experience working with operational controls, risk management frameworks, audit documentation, and recovery planning.

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Mathematics, or a related technical discipline.

Preferred Assets & Certifications
Certifications: PMP, PMI, or Agile/Scrum certifications are considered an asset.

Advanced Experience: Experience within re-insurance, financial services, or highly regulated operational environments.

Soft Skills & Delivery Attributes
People & Team Leadership: Strong interpersonal, team-building, and coaching capabilities with a proven track record of managing competing priorities.

Adaptability & Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to adapt to changing project demands and build strong business partnerships.
