Enhance mental health support in Kenora with CMHA as a Mental Health Therapist. This full-time role focuses on assessment, treatment plans, and community collaboration. As a key member of CMHA Kenora's team, the Mental Health Therapist will participate in clinical supervision and treatment plan development. You will utilize various treatment modalities, advocate for clients, and provide education to families and communities. Essential skills include screening, assessment, and case management, with a commitment to recovery-oriented practices. Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct thorough screenings and client assessments
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
• Maintain accurate and confidential client files
• Facilitate therapy and education groups
• Monitor compliance with mental health best practices Requirements:
• BSW, MSW, or MA in Counselling Psychology preferred
• Membership in a relevant health profession association
• Knowledge of mental health difficulties
• Leadership skills and cultural competence
