Technical Integration Specialist

In this fully remote role, you will help e-commerce businesses integrate their websites and mobile applications with an advanced AI-powered search and product discovery platform. You will serve as a key technical point of contact, guiding customers through onboarding, API integration, and troubleshooting to ensure seamless implementation. Working closely with customer success teams and technical stakeholders, you will help resolve integration challenges and optimize product catalog configurations. Your work will directly contribute to improving online shopping experiences and helping global retailers connect customers with the products they need. Accountabilities - Guide customers through technical onboarding and integration, helping them connect their websites and mobile applications to the platform. - Provide technical guidance on REST APIs, web services, integration best practices, and relevant open-source libraries. - Troubleshoot integration issues, investigate technical challenges, and collaborate with customer success teams and other technical specialists to identify effective solutions. - Assist customers with product catalog configuration, including catalog data uploads, facets, searchable attributes, sort orders, and search result retrieval. - Act as a liaison between customers and internal technical teams, responding promptly to inquiries and communicating solutions in a clear, accessible manner. - Help customers understand technical documentation, API functionality, and implementation requirements, adapting explanations to different levels of technical expertise.

- Document customer interactions, recurring technical issues, troubleshooting steps, and resolutions to support knowledge sharing and continuous improvement. - Contribute to improving integration documentation, onboarding resources, and support processes to make implementations more efficient and consistent. - Investigate technical behavior using available debugging tools, browser developer tools, API clients, and logs when necessary. - Collaborate across teams to help deliver reliable integrations and improve the overall customer experience. Requirements: - Demonstrated experience in a customer support or technical support role, preferably involving software products, technical implementations, or customer-facing troubleshooting. - Working knowledge of REST-based web services, APIs, and common integration principles. - Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences. - Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with a proactive approach to investigating issues and identifying practical solutions. - Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to delivering responsive, reliable, and customer-focused technical support. - Familiarity with structured data formats such as JSON and CSV, as well as basic search and indexing concepts, is preferred. - Familiarity with debugging tools, including browser developer tools, API clients such as Postman, and application or server logs, is an advantage. - Understanding of A/B testing, client-side and server-side execution, and network request routing is beneficial. - Exposure to open-source libraries, JavaScript web application development, and common software integration patterns is a plus.
