Integration Engineer

In this fully remote role, you will help e-commerce businesses seamlessly integrate their websites and mobile applications with an AI-powered search and product discovery platform. You will work closely with customers to understand their technical needs, guide implementation processes, and resolve integration challenges. By providing hands-on support with APIs, libraries, and product catalog configurations, you will help deliver reliable digital shopping experiences to users worldwide. Collaborating with customer success teams and technical specialists, you will play a key role in improving customer onboarding and integration performance. Accountabilities - Support customers throughout the technical onboarding process, helping them integrate their websites and mobile applications with the platform. - Guide customers on REST APIs, web services, open-source libraries, and integration best practices to ensure successful implementation. - Investigate and troubleshoot technical integration issues, collaborating with customer success teams and other technical specialists to deliver effective solutions. - Assist customers with product catalog configuration, including data uploads, facet configuration, searchable attributes, sorting options, and search result retrieval. - Serve as a key point of contact between customers and internal technical teams, responding promptly to inquiries and explaining technical solutions clearly. - Help customers understand integration requirements, API functionality, and implementation procedures, adapting guidance to their technical knowledge.

- Document customer interactions, recurring issues, troubleshooting processes, and solutions to improve knowledge sharing and support consistency. - Contribute to the continuous improvement of technical documentation, onboarding materials, and integration workflows. - Use debugging tools, browser developer tools, API clients, and logs to investigate issues and identify potential solutions. - Work collaboratively across teams to improve integration quality, resolve customer challenges, and deliver a positive technical support experience. Requirements: - Proven experience in a customer support or technical support position, ideally within a software, technology, or SaaS environment. - Working knowledge of REST-based web services, APIs, and software integration best practices. - Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical audiences. - Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a proactive approach to diagnosing issues and developing practical solutions. - High attention to detail and a commitment to providing responsive, reliable, and customer-focused technical support. - Familiarity with structured data formats such as JSON and CSV, along with basic search and indexing concepts, is preferred. - Experience with debugging tools, including browser developer tools, API clients such as Postman, and application logs, is an advantage. - Understanding of A/B testing, client-side and server-side environments, and network request routing is beneficial. - Familiarity with open-source libraries, JavaScript web application development, and common integration patterns is a plus. - Ability to learn new technologies quickly, manage multiple technical requests, and adapt to changing customer needs.
