Hatch is seeking a Power Asset Management Student for an internship. Reporting to the Energy Client Operations group, you will support offices globally working from our Mississauga office location.

The Energy Client Operations group is comprised of a group of Asset Management Specialists and engineers providing support to our Power and Oil and Gas clients. Hatch is expanding activities in asset management, asset performance, and asset investment planning advisory services, supporting clients in: 

• Asset Management System development, refinement, and alignment with ISO5500X standards.
• Asset risk analytics, value framework development and refinement, vulnerability assessments, and resiliency planning.
• Reliability engineering and data analytics, statistical methodologies, artificial intelligence and machine learning
• Asset custom failure curve development, damage assessments, and root cause investigations.
• Asset health index formulation, condition assessment inspections & monitoring, and performance modelling.
• Development and regulatory support with Asset Management Plans (AMPs), DSPs, IRPs, load forecasting, and grid modernization technology business cases.

As the successful candidate, you will:

• Solve challenging problems pertaining to energy technologies and power generating systems
• Work in a multi-disciplinary engineering environment
• Actively participate in the creation of the technical reports and presentations to clients
• Assist in the research and development of energy technologies

You bring to the role:

• 3rd or 4th year student in Mechanical, Electrical or Chemical Engineering from an accredited university
• Strong academic record
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills

Compensation:

Range: $26.00 - $34.00

At Hatch, we are committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. In accordance with legislated pay transparency requirements, the expected salary range for this position is based on current market data and aligned with internal pay structures to ensure consistency and fairness.

Your individual compensation within this range will depend on factors such as skills, experience, qualifications and location. In addition to base pay, our total rewards package may include performance-based incentives, comprehensive benefits, and other programs designed to support your well-being and growth.
