Your role is to act as a guide through the VRGE Revelstoke experience ensuring each guest receives quality service and dedication through the superior maintenance of the property.

Property Maintenance Guide Key Roles:

• Being enthusiastic, professional, and hospitable while providing correct and compelling tourist and destination information to guests and owners when required
• Being knowledgeable of all hotel facilities and services
• Ensuring the highest level of guest service through adhering to all processes and standards
• Performing basic routine and preventative maintenance repair as problems arise including electrical, plumbing, mechanical, drywall repair, painting
• Performing regular preventative maintenance checks and repairs to ensure hotel amenities and services are functioning
• Servicing heating, ventilation, and air conditioning units
• Groundskeeping including landscaping, lawn care, watering flowers as well s snow and ice removal
• Regular hot tub and pool upkeep and chemical testing, where applicable
• Maintaining the overall cleanliness and organization of the Maintenance department
• Maintaining inventory and informing Management of low or out-of-stock products
• Reporting hazards and injuries immediately
• Graciously handling all guest and/ or subcontractor concerns in a timely manner, alerting the Manager and involving them when necessary
• Maintaining a safe working environment at all times
• Maintaining confidentiality of all guests and information
• Following all legislative requirements and internal standards, policies, and procedures while upholding the company's core values
• Other relevant and related duties as assigned

Job Requirements:

• Ability to prioritize and stay organized in a high-paced environment
• Fluency in English with excellent communication skills and the ability to follow written and verbal instructions as well as connect with a variety of stakeholders
• Confident in striking up conversation and connecting with guests in a positive and upbeat manner
• Maintenance Technician experience in a hotel or residential setting
• Basic construction skills in a variety of areas including electrical, plumbing, carpentry, HVAC, kitchen & bathroom remodeling and painting
• Basic hand and power tool skills
• Ability to work flexible hours including mornings, days, evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays
• Physical ability to repeatedly lift, push, pull up to 100lbs, as well as stand, bend, kneel, climb, and stretch for long periods of time
• Must be able to stand and move for extended periods of time to continuously perform essential job functions
• Qualified applicants must be legally eligible to work in Canada and, where applicable, possess a valid work or study permit that allows the candidate to fulfill the requirements of the role

Pay: $20.00-$21.00 per hour
