Aquicon Construction is a privately owned and operated General Contractor based in Brampton, Ontario. Specializing in institutional and infrastructure projects with values ranging from $5M to over $100M, Aquicon has completed many high profile facilities throughout the province. We work with the best and brightest Clients, Architects, Consulting Engineers, and Sub-Contractors in the industry to ensure our buildings are delivered to the highest quality standards.Aquicon is currently looking for a qualified Estimator to join our team on a full-time basis. Reporting directly to Aquicon's President, the individual will manage several areas of the estimating process including:• Thorough review of tender documents;
• Attend pre-bid site walkthroughs;
• Work with the tender team on closing of the company bids and tenders;
• Perform takeoffs and estimating duties for upcoming projects (sitework, structural etc.);
• Present takeoffs and budgets to the team for review;
• Remain in close contact with sub-trades to provide responses to RFIs and receive quotes;
• Prepare preliminary schedules for tender submissions;
• Maintain sub-trade lists and up-to-date contact information.
