The Chignecto-Central Regional Centre for Education is accepting applications for the 2026-2027 school year for the Casual Early Childhood Educator list. This is for day-to-day work only.
Rate of Pay: $16.75/hr. to $17.41/hr.
Locations: Various Schools within the Chignecto-Central Regional Center for Education
Geographical Area: Pictou County, Cumberland County, Municipality of East Hants and Colchester County
Requirements:
- A diploma or degree in early childhood education from a recognized institution.
- Recent experience (within last 5 years) working with pre-school children in an early learning environment; and,
- Current certification in First Aid/CPR-C

All employees require a criminal record check of the vulnerable sector. The CCRCE requires an original check dated within six (6) months from your date of hire.
