Job Responsibility:
Established in 1995, our expertise lies in crafting traditional Belgian waffles and pastries. We were the pioneers in introducing Belgian waffles, specifically Liege and Brussels, to Vancouver 29 years ago, and our passion hasn't waned since. Anticipating the rise of Belgian waffles in North America, we embarked on our journey early. Patisserie Lebeau is now the leading manufacturer of Liege waffles in Canada and supplying to the nature foods stores and restaurants. We are on the lookout for a passionate individual to support our growing wholesale and retail store. We would be delighted to welcome you to our team.
What will you do?
- Scale, prepare ingredients and follow the recipes for production
- Mixing and finishing various dough including baguette, waffles, pies, and cookies dough
- Waffles production, which is including baking, monitor baking process to ensure goods are baked to perfection and packing.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the baking area as well as the equipment maintenance
- Keep track of inventory, rotation, stock record, receiving and shipping
- Adhere to food safety and sanitation guidelines
What qualifications should you have?
- English speaking
- Previous work and baking experience in baking industry, knowledge of operating the bakery equipment such as mixer, dough sheeter and divider preferred
- Follow recipes, instructions, and attention to details
- Be able to lift a bag of flour or 25 kg bag of ingredient
- Punctual, tidy, and reliable are important
- a team player, good communication and keen to learn and always ready to lend a hand
