The ideal candidate will bring extensive experience in GIS technology, with demonstrated expertise in the ESRI ArcGIS Platform (ArcGIS Pro, ArcGIS Enterprise, ArcGIS Online, ArcGIS Server, and Geodatabases), as well as the Safe Software platform (FME Flow-Server and FME Form-Desktop) and considerable knowledge of application configuration, scripting (e.g., Python, JavaScript), and tools such as QGIS, PostGIS, and GeoServer. A solid understanding of Microsoft Power Platform tools including Power BI and Power Automate is required to support automation and data visualization initiatives. Strong proficiency in spatial data analysis, cartography, and geoprocessing is essential, along with a proven ability to lead and supervise a GIS team in a collaborative and service-oriented environment. The successful candidate will have a strong track record of managing and delivering complex GIS projects, including responsibility for planning, resourcing, stakeholder engagement, and reporting. Experience supporting business units with spatial decision-making tools and implementing enterprise GIS solutions in alignment with organizational goals and smart city strategies is also key. Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills, along with a strong foundation in business systems analysis and spatial data governance, will support success in this role. Qualifications include completion of a university degree at the Bachelor’s level in computer science, GIS, IT systems and processes or a related discipline with considerable experience in business systems analysis and GIS systems or, an equivalent combination of training and experience.
