About Us
Fox and John's Kitchen & Bar is a welcoming neighbourhood restaurant and bar in the heart of Long Branch. We pride ourselves on delivering exceptional food, handcrafted drinks, and outstanding hospitality in a warm, energetic atmosphere. We're looking for a friendly and professional Host/Hostess to be the first smile our guests see when they walk through our doors.
Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly and provide a positive first impression.
- Manage reservations and walk-in seating efficiently.
- Maintain the waitlist and communicate accurate wait times.
- Escort guests to their tables and provide menus.
- Answer phone calls and assist with reservation inquiries.
- Coordinate with servers and management to optimize table flow.
- Keep the entrance, host stand, and waiting area clean and organized.
- Assist with light administrative and front-of-house duties as needed.
Qualifications
- Previous hosting or customer service experience is an asset but not required.
- Friendly, outgoing, and professional demeanor.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- Available to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- A team player with a positive attitude and a passion for hospitality.
