Job Responsibility:
North Van - Due to the sudden exit of a long term employee, we have an immediate opening for a full time CMA or CGA designated Senior Accountant. Ideally, we are looking for a strong candidate who can think strategically and execute tactically with both speed and precision.
Must have demonstrated successful experience as a full-cycle Controller with expertise with Excel and QuickBooks. A strong background with cash-flow and inventory management, AR/AP, monthly and year end P&L and Balance Sheet preparation, Compliance, Payroll, HR, plus charts and graphs for management reports. You will work closely with the CEO and President in a dynamic fast-track environment where change is the only constant. This is a one-person accounting office, but you will be supported by our outside Accounting firm, and by an extensive automated software business backend.
We are a small family-owned high profile film industry company, in business on the North Shore for more than 55 years. Our core business is manufacturing proprietary film industry products, with distribution to film industry customers in 82 countries. Experience controlling production inputs, productivity, and cost accounting is critical. In addition to manufacturing and distribution, we also have a bricks 'n mortar store, and an online store.
