Reporting to the Project Manager, the Project Coordinator - Estimating will primarily support the estimating and pre-construction functions of the business, while also assisting with project coordination activities throughout project execution. The successful candidate will be responsible for reviewing tender documents, performing quantity take-offs, obtaining vendor and subcontractor pricing, preparing bid submissions, supporting change order pricing, and assisting with project planning, procurement, scheduling, and stakeholder coordination.

What You'll Do Here:

Estimating & Pre-Construction (Primary Focus)

• Review tender documents, drawings, specifications, and contract requirements
• Perform quantity take-offs and develop cost estimates
• Obtain, evaluate, and coordinate vendor and subcontractor quotations
• Assist in preparing and submitting bids, proposals, and tender packages
• Support budget development, cost forecasting, and estimate tracking
• Prepare pricing for change notices, change orders, and extra work requests
• Participate in bid review and project handover meetings

Project Coordination & Construction Support

• Assist Project Managers with project execution and coordination activities
• Maintain project documentation, trackers, RFIs, and drawing control logs
• Coordinate procurement activities and purchase requisitions
• Assist with project scheduling, progress tracking, and reporting
• Coordinate with clients, vendors, subcontractors, and internal stakeholders
• Attend project meetings, prepare meeting minutes, and follow up on action items
• Support project closeout documentation, including O&M manuals and quality records

What You Bring to the Team

• Technical diploma, engineering degree, or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Minimum 3 years of experience in estimating, project coordination, or a related construction role
• Experience reviewing drawings, specifications, and tender documents
• Strong understanding of estimating, cost control, forecasting, and change management
• Knowledge of utility, electrical, civil, or industrial construction projects is an asset
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Project; SAP and estimating software experience are assets
• Strong organizational, analytical, and communication skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
• Be a champion of inclusion and diversity
• Any knowledge/ experience on Estimating Softwares but not required.

The expected pay range for this role is $58,000 - $70,000 per year

Individual pay is determined based on several factors such as work location, education, experience and unique skills.
