Talent Consultant - Adecco (Richmond Hill)

Role Overview

This hybrid role is a Talent Consultant position within one of our local branches. You will work with the Central Delivery team to place candidates from a qualified pool and support associates with employment continuity. The role requires an emphasis on customer service to clients, candidates, and associates while promoting the company brand. You will be expected to travel to the local office for training and weekly in‑office tasks while maintaining flexibility to work from home when appropriate.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain relationships with passive and active candidates and associates to enhance employee wellness, retention, and employability.
• Partner with Central Delivery teams to develop and sustain a diverse candidate pipeline, networking extensively in the local marketplace and supporting grassroot recruitment efforts.
• Identify, evaluate, and recommend innovative solutions to meet client needs and resolve issues.
• Assess candidates for qualification matches and overall compatibility with client requirements.
• Co‑coach candidates for success in client interviews and act as an advocate during the interview process.
• Provide associates with feedback, coaching, conflict management, and counselling to support on‑the‑job performance.
• Guide associates in developing and achieving professional goals, recommending up‑skill and re‑skill training plans to improve employability and retain associates at assignment completion.
• Develop relationships with clients and business leaders to foster business growth, understand unique client requirements, and define strategic objectives and hiring needs.
• Expand wallet share within a portfolio of small to medium local clients, building knowledge of target industries, client roles, market share, and competition.
• Maintain client retention while maximizing fill rate, reducing time to fill, and ensuring high satisfaction scores.
• Maintain general knowledge of the company’s service portfolio to price and sell services across temporary, conversion, and permanent placement business.

Qualifications

• Completion of post‑secondary education in a related field or equivalent experience with progressive responsibility.
• Two to three years of related experience, ideally in a service‑oriented environment.
• Recruiting experience within the Human Resources solutions industry is an asset.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Teams, Outlook).
• Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills with the ability to influence and motivate others.
• Superior organizational skills, consistently meeting deadlines while managing multiple tasks and priorities.
• Proactive problem‑solving, quickly recommending and implementing creative solutions.
• Consistently high customer service performance with a track record of establishing effective working relationships and identifying growth opportunities.
• Flexible and adaptable to changing business needs.
• French/English bilingualism is an asset.

Compensation

The posted range (Base Salary) for this position is between $50,000-60,000 per annum.
