Project Manager for Engineering Design

Join Arcadis as a Senior Project Manager, specializing in the engineering design of transit facilities. This role offers a unique opportunity to lead building projects with a collaborative team approach. In the role of Senior Project Manager/Design Manager, you will be pivotal in shaping major transit projects. With a background of at least 12 years in strategic oversight and project management, you'll be engaged in all phases including design, compliance, and risk management. Your hands-on leadership will ensure projects remain on time and within budget while facilitating communication between contractors and stakeholders. Key Responsibilities:
- Manage project delivery and defining project plans
- Drive the design of multidisciplinary building infrastructure
- Conduct inspections and monitor construction progress
- Review contractor activities for compliance
- Document project status for management reviews
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, PMP certification
- Minimum 12 years in project management for transit
- Expertise in environmental assessments and feasibility studies
- Proficient in contract interpretation and negotiation
- Valid Ontario Driver’s License and vehicle for site visits
