Nuclear Project Estimator At Black & Mcdonald

Join the Black & McDonald Power Generation team as a Nuclear Project Estimator. This key role involves leading project bids and navigating complex estimating tasks to drive project success.
In this position, you will oversee project strategy development and prepare precise cost estimates for construction projects. Collaborating with engineers, architects, and contractors, you will conduct thorough analyses of tenders and negotiate effectively to ensure profitability and performance goals are met. Your expertise will guide the successful execution of projects in a challenging environment.
Key Responsibilities: - Lead project bid planning and development - Prepare detailed cost estimates for materials and labor - Analyze tenders and recommend award candidates - Conduct quantity take-off estimates for budget development - Liaise with stakeholders to ensure project alignment
Requirements: - 3+ years estimating experience in construction/power generation - Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related discipline - Experience with cost estimating software - Strong communication and analytical skills - Willingness to travel for site visits
