CBM Ready-Mix is seeking a Plant Supervisor, based in Kanata.
This position is a permanent full-time vacancy.
Annual Salary Range: $63,000 - $65,000 + annual incentive bonus
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Supervising unionized workforces and maintaining a high level of employee morale at the plants.
- Managing and coordinating production, storage and general distribution in accordance with policies and procedures as established by the Operations Manager.
- Planning, organizing and batching concrete loads/deliveries
- Performing concrete testing as per CSA & ASTM standards
- Complete paperwork and reporting as needed
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- At least two years post-secondary education (college or university)
- Previous ready-mix or similar industry experience is an asset.
- Excellent people management, problem solving, decision-making, and communication skills
- Fundamental knowledge of computer software (Windows, Word, Excel)
- Bilignual in English and French is an asset, but not required
- G Class license and clear 3-year drivers abstract is required
